G/P galleryでは、写真家上田義彦の新作展"YUME"を開催いたします。上田義彦は、昨年5月G/P galleryで個展"QUINAULT"を発表後、Paris Photo 2009、ロンドンのマイケル・ホッペン ギャラリー、TAI gallery (サンタ・フェ、USA）など海外で精力的に作品を公開し、多くのコレクター、メディアの高い評価を得ました。今作"YUME"は、上田義彦が一昨年、ミャンマーで撮りおろした最新作であり、初公開となります。ドキュメントやコンテンポラリーアートとしての写真という枠組みを超え、光と闇が絶妙におりなす永遠の時がここに活け撮られています。今回の個展は、G/P galleryだけでなく、NADiff A/P/A/R/T 2F全フロアを併用しての充実した展示となります。ぜひ御高覧下さい。
G/P gallery is proud to present an exhibition "YUME" by Yoshihiko Ueda.Ueda has been presenting his works in Paris Photo, Michael Hoppen Gallery(UK), TAI gallery (USA) and G/P gallery in the past few years. His works have been accepted enthusiastically by many collectors and western media. "YUME" is the artist's latest works which have been taken in Myanmar in 2009, which captures the infinite moment appearing out of the local light and darkness. The beauty of it goes beyond the boarder of photography. This exhibition will take place in 2 rooms in NADiff A/P/A/R/T 2F.
